Jennifer was born in Houston and raised primarily in Dallas, TX. In 1994, she moved back to Houston, where she makes her home today. A natural talent, she grew up in a salon atmosphere and attributes that to part of her success today. After graduating high school with numerous accolades and honors, she chose to follow her calling and took the road less traveled by delaying college and entering cosmetology school. In doing this, she passed up several scholarships and awards, but knew that she would never be happy unless she followed her heart. After receiving her cosmetologist license, Jennifer began her career in the salon as a stylist and color specialist, being certified in over 4 different product lines.
In just two years, Jennifer had already been published in several salon and national publications displaying her haircolor, cuts, styles, and make-up. While she liked being in the salon, she realized how much she enjoyed freelancing and working on photo shoots, TV, and fashion shows - thus Creative EDGE was born. Along with commercial work, she also specializes in wedding and pageant work. In January 2003, Jennifer opened her own salon and also managed to obtain her Business Management degree. She now divides her time between her clientele at the salon and on location hair and make-up applications.
Aside from being a hair aficionado, Jennifer is also a MAC Master Artist, and only uses cosmetics that are non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic. They are film and television quality products formulated to be flawless for 12-14 hours, without making you look overdone. Her professionalism, creativity, and passion for her art makes her the best choice for photography, models, actors, entertainers, fashion shows, TV, film, weddings, prom, special occasions, formals events, pageants, parties, and trade shows.
